Responsibilities: Well-known Baltimore institution has immediate need for an experienced bookkeeper with particular strength in payroll. This is a temp-to-hire position at one of Baltimore's most stable companies. The successful candidate will: -Process weekly payroll and prepare payroll tax filings. -Maintain records of union dues, garnishments and other deductions. -Prepare year-to-date payroll records and W-2 forms. -Reconcile monthly bank statements. -Analyze general ledger accounts. -Serve as backup for accounts payable and receivable functions.
Requirements: Degree: Undergraduate

Other Requirements: -A minimum of two years of experience processing payroll and filing payroll taxes. -Bank statement reconciliation experience. -Working knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processing -Microsoft Office skills.
