Responsibilities: Vice President For Academic Affairs Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, a state-owned college in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is seeking applications and nominations for the position of Vice President for Academic Affairs. As the chief academic officer of the institution, this position reports directly to the President and is charged with the supervision, development and implementation of all Certificate and Associate degree programs. The academic support areas of institutional assessment, career services, student retention, library services, multi-cultural affairs, financial aid, student registration, tutoring, workforce development, and continuing education report to this position. Qualifications for the position include an earned doctorate in education administration or a closely related area, substantial teaching experience, and demonstrated excellence in all aspects of the administration of technical education including but not limited to scheduling, curriculum development, and the employment and evaluation of full and part-time faculty. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communications skills, a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and a passion for the mission of the College.
