Responsibilities: Financial Analyst II apply Job Location: Waltham, MA Financial Analyst II 12000E9A PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Contribute to all tasks necessary to budgeting, forecasting and overall financial analysis. Support Senior Management, department heads and managers with financial analysis. DUTIES / ACTIVITIES : CUSTOMER SERVICE : - Responsible for driving the FMCNA culture through values and customer service standards. - Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers. - Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication. - Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: - Primarily responsible for operating expense periodic analysis, budgeting -and-amp; forecasting to support the Companys financial goals as well as providing support for Standard Margin Analysis. - Support department heads and managers with all operating expense requirements to support the Dialysis Product Division objectives. Provides financial expertise and counsel, as appropriate. - Prepare variance analysis for profit -and-amp; loss statements and detailed operating expenses analysis. - Provide monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the RTG Division. - Prepare Sales -and-amp; margin analysis as needed to support divisional objectives and financial goals. - Provides support for detailed and complex financial modeling for special and ad hoc projects to support key divisional strategies. Prepares presentation for various Board presentations, provides charts, graphs and other information which involve financial interpretations of the financial presentation. - Prepares Return on Investment, Payback and Breakeven analyses for various projects including new product introductions and capital projects to support the companys financial goals. - Prepares the budget and periodic forecasts. - Special projects, as assigned. EDUCATION: - Bachelors Degree with a major in Finance or Accounting - MBA or CPA preferred EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: - 3-5 years experience in general accounting or finance. - Solid and proven experience in financial analysis. - Experience with SAP systems a must. - Hyperion knowledge a must. - Strong Excel skills. - Knowledge of Access required. - Strong financial modeling experience. - Ability to communicate with Sr. Mgt in a confident, professional manner when presenting financial information. - Ability to work on numerous and multi-faceted projects at the same time. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Ability to work independently. - Industry experience preferred. - Must be well organized and able to work under pressure. - Must be able to prioritize well.
